Sixers Get Back on Track by Beating a Very Bad Team

After a stretch of unabated disappointment, the Sixers win against a very bad team, the lowly New York Knicks. Let's not beat around the bush -- the Knicks are bad. They rank dead last in lots of essential statistical categories. I'm not gonna bore you with numbers but believe me, you can look it up for yourself. Just google it.

The Knicks are a mess of a team. Their owner, Dolan, is despised by fans. They all want him gone, but like most sports team owners is very reluctant to sell. It will take a scandal of Don Sterling proportions to get him out. This guy will keep his team and keep driving it into the ground. Luckily for me and most of you reading this blog you are Sixers fans, so this is good news. The Knicks are a division rival and so we have a clear advantage over this dumpster fire of a team. It also doesn't hurt that Knicks fans are insufferable and therefore it feels kinda nice knowing their team will always be terrible, doesn't it?

Despite all of this, of course, the Sixers found a way to almost lose to this joke of an NBA team by falling behind as much as 17 points in the third. Sure, their starting guard J-Rich was sitting due to an injury but still it should have never come to this. It took some heroic threes by Mike Scott to bring the Sixers back and win in the end.

The Sixers are all intents and purposes a superior team and showed it in the end by ensuring a win against a sad, sad excuse for a basketball team. Hopefully this big come from behind win will propel them to new heights and motivate them to keep the good times rolling.

Almost forgot -- Ben Simmons scored a three point field goal, his first ever in his career. It looked good from catch to release and marks a new era in Sixers basketball where their $50 million point guard has proven himself able to make a shot from beyond 5 feet. Way to go, Ben.

One last thing -- buy this book! It's buy Max Hater, a hilarious author who loves pranks. It's titled 'Reasons to be a Knicks Fan: An Intelligent Guide' but of course when you open it there are nothing but blank pages. Hah! Hahaha! This is sure to delight whomever you purchase it for. With the holidays coming up, why wouldn't you buy!
