Sixers Win the Week
Sixers Win the Week
Over the last 3 games the Sixers had a winning 2-1 record, painfully losing the the Grizz, but then beating the Bulls and the Spurs. Embiid, Simmons, and Dario are all going to LA to represent in All Star Weekend.
They were up most the game against the Grizz in Memphis, but as they have done so often before this season, they just couldn't hold on and gave it all away at the end. Another tough loss that they really should have won. It was that game where you are already writing them off as winners, turn off the game, then check scores the next morning and are like "whaa?"
They redeemed themselves later in the week Wednesday against Chicago where they came home and easily handled the Bulls. Finally, they rounded out the week by keeping a lead and beating the Spurs again, sweeping San Antonio for the season for the first time since who knows when*.
Sixers are now 8-2 over the past ten games and 3 games over 500. They're starting to show that they're a force in the East and would have a solid playoff spot were they to start today. Joel Embiid is an all star starter, the first time a Sixer started since AI last did back in 2010. Simmons and Dario will join Embiid on the World team in the rising stars game. Think it's safe to say that the Process is beginning to reap its rewards.
Sixers play OKC in OKC tonight and are a 3.5 point road dog. They lost to the Thunder at home earlier this season in a 3OT thriller. Given their quality week I would pick Philly for this one.

*Note: Sixers last swept the season series vs the Spurs in 2004. Thanks, #liberty ballers.

Look, I get it. You don't want to send me BTC. I wouldn't want to send BTC either. What with its high processing fees and crazy fluctuations in price, why send it over to me just because you enjoy my blog? That is why I am now accepting Dogecoin. Doge coin is a cryptocurrency that has much lower transaction fees, must faster transaction speeds, and has a super friendly support community. Not only that, but they have their very own mascot! Just google "Doge coin" and you'll know what I mean.
Another benefit of Dogecoin is that it is great for micro-transactions. 1 Doge is currently worth just about a penny, so no need to send 0.00001 of something, send a good ol whole number! Send a Doge!
