Sixers Give Up Huge Lead and Lose

Earlier this evening the Sixers gave up a gigantic lead to the Raptors and lost at home.

The Raptors were a 4 point road favorite and covered the spread by a point.

Simmons turned the ball over 7 times and JJ Redick sat so Bayless played way too many minutes, where he shot 1-7 from three. DeRozan took off and dropped 45 points.

There is some silver lining here though, which is that the Sixers held their own and even grew a lead to 22 points in the 3rd quarter all without their 1st best and 3rd best players, Embiid and Redick, respectively, against a very good Toronto team. Hopefully they don't let this game discourage them from getting back out there and getting better results the next game.

The teams run it back Saturday night in Toronto. Impossible to make a pick given the injury status of JJ and Joel, but I'll call it for Toronto just because they're a good team and playing at home.
