Sixers Embarrass Themselves in front of Millions
Tonight the Sixers completely embarrassed themselves in front of an audience of millions by losing to the Lakers at home, who were 7.5 point dogs. The home team, coming off of a disappointing loss to the not-good-at-all Suns at home, had 3 days to rest and prepare for this not-good-either Lakers team in a nationally televised game. Given these circumstances, they really should have won. Instead, Embiid and crew under-performed and taught the millions of basketball fans watching worldwide that the Process still has a long way to go.
The Philadelphia 76ers fly to Cleveland next where they will be the underdog, likely in the +15-20 point range. Given the way they've been playing lately, I'd pick Cleveland to cover handily.
I will add box scores once basketball-reference.com posts them. Odds data all courtesy oddsshark.com. #Trusttheprocess
